I’m no stranger to the therapy couch. Not only have I spent the past 18+ years practicing psychotherapy, I’ve also spent plenty of time doing my own work. I come to this profession humbled by my own trauma and many years of healing my relationship with myself and the world around me.
Even though our circumstances may not be exactly the same, I promise you — I know pain. I’ve also found my way through. I still do. I didn’t have to do it alone, and neither do you.
In my office, therapy isn’t about figuring out what’s “wrong” with you. Sure, we may need to iron out a few kinks — it’s not always comfortable — but it’s all in service of uncovering your essence, your gifts, and the person you are underneath suffering and limiting beliefs.
I believe in the healing power of humor — so yes, we’ll laugh. Being human is no small thing, especially in the world we live in. My job is to walk beside you and help guide you toward your own inner knowing and healing.
When people ask about my “orientation,” I can list the modalities that influence my work — psychodynamic, trauma-informed, relational, transpersonal, somatic — but the truth is, my work is deeply intuitive. I have a natural sense for where we could go, and an innate ability to meet you exactly where you are. I listen beyond words, attune to what’s beneath the surface, and trust the unfolding. Our work is co-created — you lead, and together we follow the thread.
About Elizabeth
Based in Los Angeles, I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#50816) specializing in individual and couples therapy. I work with a wide range of clients and have a special affinity for those in the creative arts. I’m also deeply committed to serving the LGBTQIA+ community through affirmative therapy.
I integrate a wide range of modalities, including:
• Attachment-Focused EMDR (trained through the Parnell Institute)
• Trauma-informed therapy (with specialization in developmental and relational trauma)
• Post Induction Therapy (trained with Pia Mellody, focusing on codependency and childhood wounds)
• Breathwork facilitation (certified through David Elliott’s Healer Training)
• Psychedelic integration (including training with MAPS for MDMA-assisted therapy)
My background as a Master Indoor Cycling Instructor led to the development of Psycletherapy™ — a unique modality that combines psychotherapy with the dynamic energy of indoor cycling, set to a thoughtfully curated motivational soundtrack. These individual and group sessions blended emotional and physical wellness in a truly integrated format. While Psycletherapy™ is currently on pause, I continue to lead indoor cycling classes when time allows.
Beyond the therapy room, I served as the Mindfulness Coach for My Peak Challenge, a global movement supporting wellness, balance, and charitable impact through causes such as environmental conservation, hunger relief, end-of-life care, and cancer research.
My work is rooted in a progressive, inclusive lens — LGBTQIA+ affirmative, queer-informed, feminist, and anti-racist. I strive to create a space where all parts of you are welcome.
