Based in Los Angeles, Elizabeth Hill is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#50816) specializing in individual and couples therapy. She brings a unique focus to serving clients in the creative arts and is committed to supporting the LGBTIA+ community through Affirmative Therapy. Elizabeth also offers Attachment-Focused EMDR, addressing relational, acute, and complex trauma, leveraging her profound understanding of the intricacies of human connection and healing.

Elizabeth’s innovative approach to therapy is epitomized by Psycletherapy™, a unique therapeutic modality she developed. This approach marries psychotherapy with the dynamic energy of indoor cycling, aided by a uniquely-crafted, motivational soundtrack that provides a sonic backdrop for the ride. Individual and group sessions foster emotional and physical wellness in a groundbreaking format.

In her role as the Mindfulness Coach for My Peak Challenge, Elizabeth extends her influence beyond the therapy room. She contributes to a global movement aimed at promoting well-being, balance, and happiness. Through her involvement, Elizabeth helps inspire change and supports various causes, including environmental conservation, hunger relief, end-of-life care, and cancer research — highlighting her commitment to making a broader societal impact.

The belief that you are inadequate is a myth. I believe in looking for what is right with you. I am not the therapist who is going to merely sit back, listen and tell you what is wrong with you. Together we will find the gold of you, and walk the journey towards your most alive, most authentic self. We will have active conversations. I will participate. We will laugh here and there, because I’m a big believer in the healing power of humor. I will not tell you what to do or how to live, but I will help guide you toward your own inner-knowing.  ~ ELIZABETH

With over 17 years of experience, Elizabeth approaches therapy with a diverse toolkit, integrating relational, psychodynamic, transpersonal, and trauma-informed practices. Her work is viewed through a progressive lens — LGBTQ-affirmative, queer, feminist, and anti-racist — ensuring a safe and inclusive space for all her clients.

Elizabeth’s extensive training includes:

  • Becoming an Attachment-Focused EMDR Therapist under the guidance of the Parnell Institute.
  • Preparing to facilitate MDMA-assisted therapy with the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS), in anticipation of its legalization. Elizabeth champions the synergistic power of plant and compound allies in the healing journey, emphasizing self-reliance in personal growth. Currently, she offers psychedelic integration services, a process that starts after an experience, or “journey” — often marked by exploration and healing as well an opportunity to reclaim innocence and curiosity or, perhaps, joy that we may have lost contact with.
  • Advancing her skills in Post Induction Therapy (PIT) with Pia Mellody, focusing on developmental trauma and codependency, further underscoring her dedication to addressing deep-seated emotional wounds.

Through her comprehensive expertise and compassionate approach, Elizabeth Hill is redefining therapeutic practice, offering transformative paths to wellness and self-discovery.

Elizabeth offers a complimentary 20-minute consultation to determine availability and fit.
